Intimate lunch breaks could give rise to Workers Compensation Claims!

A community representative in a Scandinavian country has recommended to his Council that workers should be allowed to go home for an extended lunch break so that they can be intimate with their partner.

His thinking was that an employee, after returning to work would become more productive.

Whilst there may, from some people’s perspective be merit in the proposal, the idea was rejected by that Council.

Apart from anything else, it could give rise to interesting questions in relation to compensation claims if a person was injured somehow whilst away from their place of employment for that purpose.
