Born in 1952 in country NSW and subsequently moving to Sydney, Murray completed his secondary studies in Sydney’s southern suburbs and entered into the New South Wales Police Service in 1974.
He served for twenty six and a half years as a Detective dealing with most aspects of the criminal, drug and traffic laws in New South Wales. He combined work with the study of Law part time at the University of Technology, Sydney and was admitted as a Solicitor in July 1997.
Following being admitted, Murray provided legal advice to a number of internal departments within the Police Service. Whilst serving as a Police Officer, Murray was awarded the National Medal and Police Medals and received a commendation for good policing for his involvement in a siege at the Spit Bridge Mosman, near Sydney.
In 2000 Murray commenced working as a solicitor on the Central Coast. He worked with two law firms befroe taking over a Practice at East Gosford. Murray joined the team at Brazel Moore Lawyers in November 2015 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.
